Delaminations usually occur on the deck from repeated foot depressions, denting the foam and glass until they separate. This leaves a gap of air between the glass and foam or namely the glass delaminates from the foam.
There are two ways to repair:
1. -the glass can be sanded and cut away leaving just the foam. The dents can be filled with Q cell and sanded level, then reglassed.
2. Or drill small 1/8 holes in various positions through the delaminated glass. Then using a large syringe filled with catalyzed resin, inject catalyzed resin into the holes. The resin will find its way to fill the gap. Squeeze the resin in and move it around with your fingers. Lay a sheet of plastic or plastic bag and a flat piece of ply with a good weight on top to flatten out the glass and resin. The excess will squeeze out. The plastic will stop the board sticking to the ply and weight. When resin hardens, remove weight and ply. The delam should be restuck. If the surface is fairly level, you may only need to filler coat and sand smooth. If the surface is still dented or uneven, make a Q cell slurry and squeegee over dips. When hard sand and re filler coat. When filler coat is hard, sand smooth to 240 grit.
You can then spray-paint to hide repair or just leave it as it is.
